In progress.
Today I took pictures of myself, clone stamped over my left breast and added scars from mastectomy patients to make it look as though I have had a mastectomy. I played with filters and found more images of breast cancer that I may include in the background

Kittenpalooza
This is the concept for my sequential narrative. I want to start off with one helpless looking kitten in one picture and then with each progressive picture I want there to be more and more helpless kittens, ending with me in the end, surrounded by tons of kittens and looking distressed. This is the first image I've worked on, but I need for the kitten to look even more helpless looking.

Cyclical nature
I added back in the second positive tree because I don't know which one I like better. this one also has the plus signs in the trees.
Cyclical nature
With this in progress I took away one of the layers because I was considering that it may be too distracting. I also added very vague plus signs throughout the leaves and tree trunks to further drive home my idea of positivity.

Money Abe
This image has a billion layers. I incorporated my scanogram in this one as well and I liked bringing in the five dollar bill which also features Abe's bust. I used an Abe as the main focal point because it was getting a little busy and I needed to redirect attention to the main subject. This one is all about the money.
Pop Art Abe
With this one I created a pop art style that Andy Warhol would be proud of. This is my patterned based piece since I created a fill with the same gun that Abe was shot with. The background eludes to the American flag but I didn't want it to be too literal. His head was filtered with the plaster setting, to mimic his death mask.
Camo Abe
Basically I wanted to make Abe's head less of a recognizable symbol and more of a pattern. The colors represent camo, which can be linked to war.
Destroy the icon first try
I wanted to convey the idea of Abe sitting in an auditorium, possibly whispering into each others' ears and warning them of the imminent danger. My scanogram is included in the background.

destroy the icon
I liked the idea of using Abe's head as a pattern. It's said that when you die, your brain is flooded with a chemical called DMT which is a potent hallucinogen. Perhaps the trippy colors are what Abe saw as soon as he was shot in the head and his life was flashing before his eyes. His famous top hat is incorporated into the background, creating the pinkish hues.
